Exiled HEBERTs in Maryland

Although they received some assistance from Maryland Catholics, many of those who arrived in Maryland still attempted to return to Canada or traveled to French colonies when they could. Some were allowed to build their own homes, and populated an area near Baltimore known as Frenchtown.
