YOUR PORTAL TO ACADIAN-CAJUN GENEALOGY & HISTORY ONLINE

The Acadians were French settlers
of eastern Canada who were exiled
from their land in the 1750s.
The Cajuns are their descendants
who settled in Louisiana.
Today, thousands of Acadian-Cajun
descendants cherish their rich
legacy of history, culture, & genealogy.

Finally - the new edition of Acadian-Cajun Genealogy: Step by Step is now available
The publisher decided that the book was more suited for internet distribution, so it is now available online (link). After several printings, the original edition sold out. It has been found from time to time for up to $100 at used book stores. The new edition incorporates the advances made in Acadian-Cajun genealogical research since the first printing in 1993. I'm working on make a Kindle version as well.

If you'd like a copy of the Ile St. Jean Acadian records, the Acadian-Cajun Atlas, or the Hebert Databook , they are now available from CafePress. Any proceeds will go to support Acadian heritage efforts.
